Motorola Nio specifications and design were revealed via an alleged live image in recent leaks, suggesting the phone’s launch may be inching closer. Now, the Motorola Nio has appeared on Geekbench V5.2 platform with the model number XT2125-4. The listing suggests the Motorola Nio specifications will include 8GB RAM and Android 11 OS (which should be skinned with a clean stock UI). The motherboard section mentions just an octa-core ‘Nio’ chipset and clock speed of 1.8GHz, but previous leaks have claimed it will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The smartphone has managed to score 958 in the single-core and 2969 in the multi-core round, respectively. That’s everything revealed via the Geekbench listing.

Motorola Nio specifications (rumoured)

The recently leaked live-images showed off dual hole-punch cutouts at the top-left corner arranged separately, a flat display, and slim bezels. There are chances it could be a dummy image of the phone since it doesn’t show off any buttons to the sides. It is said to feature DisplayPort Alternate Mode that will allow the phone to be connected to external displays.

Motorola Nio specifications will reportedly include a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with 1,080 × 2,520 pixels resolution and 105Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage. It runs on Android 11 OS out of the box. As for the cameras, the Motorola Nio is said to feature a triple camera setup with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B wide-angle sensor, a 16MP OmniVision OV16A10 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP OmniVision OV02B1B depth sensor.

On the front, it is said to have a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q wide-angle primary camera and an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 ultra-wide-angle secondary lens for selfies and video chats. There is a 5,000mAh battery onboard but details regarding its charging capacity are unknown at the moment. While the exact launch date of the phone isn’t clear, the Motorola Nio is expected to launch sometime in Q1 2021 globally and may even launch in India.
