Budget smart TV maker Daiwa has launched two new models in the Indian market, namely the Daiwa D32S7B and D40HDRS. The release comes a few months after the company launched its 43-inch smart TV in India. The new models come in two screen sizes – 32-inch and 39-inch. Much like their predecessors, the Daiwa D32S7B and D40HDRS smart TVs are Alexa-enabled and come with a companion remote that doubles up as a microphone. Daiwa D32S7B (32-inch) and D40HDRS (39-inch) are priced for Rs 15,990 and 21,990, respectively. Users get a one-year warranty out of the box. Another year can be added by registering yourself on the “My Daiwa App”. Both TVs will be available across major online and offline retail stores soon.

As pictured above, the remote has direct access buttons for popular video streaming applications such as Disney+ Hotstar and Sony LIV. There appears to be a dedicated mouse button too. Unlike the 43-inch variant, the Daiwa D32S7B and D40HDRS are only HD-ready, indicating that their display resolutions are 1366 X 768 pixels. Input options on the Daiwa D32S7B and D40HDRS Smart TVs include three HDMI and two USB ports, along with Bluetooth and E-Share that enables screen mirroring. This allows users to control their Smart TV via a connected smartphone.
The Daiwa D32S7B and D40HDRS smart TVs are powered by a mystery quad-core ARM Cortex-A35-based chipset and run Android 8.0 out of the box, along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. They also come with the company’s in-house ‘The Big Wall’ software that is pre-loaded with over 2500000+ hours of content thanks to pre-installed apps such as Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, Eros Now, Voot, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and YouTube.
