Moto G 5G specifications have leaked ahead of the rumoured imminent launch. The handset, codenamed Kiev, is expected to be a slightly affordable version of Moto G 5G Plus that was announced back in July with Snapdragon 765G SoC, dual selfie cameras, and other mid-range specifications. As per the latest leak, Moto G 5G specifications could include Qualcomm’s newly-announced Snapdragon 750G SoC with 5G support. The chipset supports mmWave and AI noise suppression at a budget price point. Separately, an alleged live photo, showing off the display and the camera cutout on the front also surfaced on Slashleaks.

Moto G 5G specifications (rumoured)

The Moto G 5G may flaunt a punch-hole design, with the cut out for the selfie camera in the middle of the status bar. The handset is likely to run a near-stock version of Android 10 out of the box. It’s likely to measure 6.6-inch tall and sport a standard 60Hz refresh rate screen (LCD or AMOLED, we don’t know yet) and FHD+ (1,080 x 2,400p) resolution. The Snapdragon 750G SoC is tipped to be paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The phone will most likely be driven by a 5,000mAh battery.

Around the back, the Moto G 5G could sport a triple camera setup comprising 48MP Samsung GM1 primary sensor, 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 telephoto lens, and an OmniVision OV02B10 2MP macro sensor. At the front, it may highlight an OmniVision OV16A1Q 16MP snapper that’ll use pixel binning to create a 4MP image.

Furthermore, like its Plus sibling, the Moto G 5G is also said to pack a dedicated Google Assistant button. The source claims that the said button will not be present on a Verizon US variant of the headset. NFC is also rumoured and the model numbers for the Moto G 5G may include XT2113-1, XT2113-2, XT2113-3, and XT2113-5.
