POCO X3 will be launching in India tomorrow i.e. September 22nd at 12 PM IST. The successor to the POCO X2 went official globally earlier this month with specifications like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G, 120Hz display, 33W fast charging, and 64MP quad cameras, among other things. The POCO X3 India model is teased to come with these exact specs. However, the battery might be bumped up to 6,000mAh from 5,160mAh, according to a new teaser from the brand. The POCO X3 will come with a “bigger 6attery” as per the brand, suggesting a 6,000mAh capacity.

Unless we’re reading too much into the teaser, it seems the POCO X3 India variant will back a bigger battery compared to its global counterpart. There may be a few more differences in store for us. For example, a Geekbench listing of the India model suggests an 8GB RAM variant will be coming. To recall, the phone was launched globally with 6GB RAM only. Moreover, the POCO X3 model coming to India may not support NFC as teasers so far have left out “NFC” from the phone’s name.
The rest of the POCO X3 India variant specifications should be similar to the global model. The phone sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone is powered by the 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset and runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 with POCO Launcher 2.0 out of the box. POCO X3 features a quad-camera setup that includes a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a couple of 2MP sensors for depth and macro shots. At the front, the phone gets a 20MP sensor for selfies.
POCO X3 will likely pack a 6,000mAh battery in India. This will be backed by 33W fast charging support. The phone is also equipped with dual stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options onboard include IR blaster, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
