Some time ago, we discovered that Realme was working on two new smartwatches, called the Realme Watch 2 and Realme Watch 2 Pro via some code in the Realme Link app. Now, the Realme Watch 2 Pro appears to be one step closer to launch, as it has just been certified by the EEC, as confirmed by its RMA2006 model number. We also learned about some key Realme Watch 2 and Realme Watch 2 Pro specifications some time ago thanks to their FCC listing. We can expect Realme to launch the Realme Watch and Realme Watch 2 soon, presumably alongside the Realme GT on March 4th.
The Realme Watch 2 and Realme Watch 2 Pro also appeared on the official Indonesia Telecom certification website earlier this month. The Realme Watch 2 Pro bears the same model number mentioned earlier, while the Realme Watch 2 is referenced as RMA2008. Its appearance on the certification websites of multiple regions is a good thing, as it is a sign that Realme wants to launch the Realme Watch 2 and Realme Watch 2 Pro globally.
The Realme Watch 2 and its Pro sibling will be the direct successors of the original Realme Watch. We discovered earlier that they would retain the Apple Watch-like aesthetic with a square-shaped body. Realme Watch 2 Pro is expected to feature a 390mAh battery that supports 2.5W charging. Other expected Realme Watch 2 and Watch 2 Pro features could include an AMOLED screen, a heart rate sensor, sleep tracking, dedicated sports modes, and a SpO2 sensor. However, the SpO2 sensor could be exclusive to the Realme Watch Pro, otherwise, the plain Realme Watch runs the risk of undercutting its higher-priced sibling.
