Rumours of Samsung working on an affordable 5G smartphone have been around for quite some time now. The Samsung Galaxy A32 5G launch date seems to be fairly close, as it has shown up online on the FCC website. Now, renowned leaker Stufflistings has stumbled upon the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G on the latter’s website. Listed with model number SM-A326B, the smartphone is shown to pack Bluetooth 5.0. Unfortunately, the listing tells us little in the way of the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G specifications, but those should be revealed to us soon.

Samsung Galaxy A32 5G specifications

Thanks to leaked Samsung Galaxy A32 5G case renders, we know that the smartphone will come with three rear cameras and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is somewhat of a downgrade over its predecessor — Galaxy A31 — that came with four camera modules (48MP + 8MP + 5MP + 5MP). We can only hope that Samsung improves some of the camera modules on the Galaxy A32 5G to compensate for the lack of a sensor. Its battery capacity is unlikely to change, as the Galaxy A31 already comes with a massive 5,000mAh unit.

Since the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G is a part of Samsung’s affordable Galaxy A series, the phone might not come with bedazzling specifications like a high-refresh-rate AMOLED screen. Even an AMOLED screen seems doubtful at this point, as Samsung could very well opt for an LCD panel to cut costs. While it is anybody’s guess as to what chipset will fuel the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, it is reasonable to assume that it will run a MediaTek Dimensity 720, as it strikes a perfect balance between price and performance.
