Realme Buds Air 2 truly wireless earbuds have received the FCC certification with the model number RMA2003, suggesting the launch could be around the corner. These will come as a successor to the original Realme Buds Air, so one can hope the TWS earbuds may bring improvements to sound and design. The certification image shows the Realme Buds Air 2 charging case has a 400mAh battery and seems to have an oval shape. Unfortunately, not a lot is known about the Realme Buds Air 2 at the moment but we can speculate it may have Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity and probably an in-ear design. We should learn more soon.
Realme Buds Air Pro, Buds Air Neo, and Buds Air are the company’s existing TWS earbuds. The Buds Pro are the latest offering that comes with the new ‘power-efficient’ S1 chip for active noise cancellation, with a maximum reduction of 35dB. The earbuds weigh just 5 grams and have a cobble design with silicone ear tips for a secure and comfortable fit. They have 94ms super-low latency for gaming, transparency mode to listing to the ambient sound with just one-click and dual-mic noise cancellation for calls. The Realme Buds Air Pro have 10mm bass boost drivers, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and up to 25 hours of battery support. Realme Buds Air Pro has fast charging support (over Type-C) that is claimed to charge from 0 to 100 per cent in just an hour.
On the other hand, the Realme Buds Air sports an in-ear design with a long stem, similar to Apple AirPods. They have touch controls for play/pause, triple tap for next song, Assistant and Siri and reject calls. There’s also wear detection, USB Type-C port and wireless charging support. The Realme Buds Air earbuds are claimed to last up to 21 hours and have an IPX2 rating for sweatproof. The earbuds ship with a custom R1 chip, 12mm mater tuned driver and dual-mic noise cancellation. The Realme Buds Air 2 may come with a similar design as the first-generation earbuds and may not support ANC in order to keep the price point low, but we can only speculate at the moment.
