Moto G 5G was launched in India earlier this week as the most affordable 5G phone in the country yet. The device is priced around Rs 20,000, which makes it even more affordable than the OnePlus Nord (review). Both the devices are powered by mid-range 5G Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. Moto G 5G price in India is set at Rs 20,999 for the single variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone will go on sale on Flipkart at 12 PM IST starting December 7th.

OnePlus Nord India price starts at Rs 24,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB and 12GB RAM + 256GB variants are priced at Rs 27,999 and Rs 29,999, respectively. The phone is available for sale via Amazon.in, OnePlus e-store, and other retail stores across the country.

The Moto G 5G flaunts a centred punch-hole display, with quad-camera setup in a squarish module at the back. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the Moto dimple for security. The device measures 166.1mm × 76.1mm × 9.9mm, weighs 212 grams, and comes with an IP52 rating for dust protection. The phone has 3.5mm headphone next to the speaker grille and a Type-C port at the bottom edge. The Moto G 5G comes in Volcanic Grey and Frosted Silver colour options.

At the front, the handset sports a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Moto G 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery that is rated to last for up to two days on a single charge and supports 20W TurboPower fast charging. As for OnePlus Nord specifications, it sports a slightly better Snapdragon 765G SoC and 6.4-inch AMOLED screen that bears FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations. The phone gets a 32MP + 8MP dual selfie camera setup on the front, while the rear cameras sport 48MP + 8MP (f/2.25) 119-degree ultra-wide lens + 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensor + 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor setup. Software-wise, the phone runs Android 10-based OxygenOS out of the box.

The handset is driven by a 4,115mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T fast charging support.
