Samsung Galaxy A12 just made an appearance on the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) website. The listing revealed some key Samsung Galaxy A12 specifications, such as its 5,000mAh battery that will support fast charging at 15W. Other Galaxy A12 features include NFC functionality and up to 64GB of internal storage. That is a significant upgrade compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A11, which came with a paltry 32GB of storage. Lastly, the Galaxy A12 storage can be further expanded via a microSD card. We can expect the Galaxy A12 price in India to be around Rs 10,000 if its predecessor is anything to go by.

Little more is know about the Galaxy A12’s hardware at this point. The smartphone showed up on Geekbench earlier running what appears to be a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and 3GB of RAM. That listing likely belongs to the lower-specced version of the Galaxy A12. We can expect the maxed-out version to ship with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The Galaxy A12 is also confirmed to run Android 10-based One UI 2.0 out of the box.
Leaked Galaxy A12 renders from earlier tell us that the smartphone will come with three rear cameras. Although its exact configuration is not known at this point, we can expect it to be a slightly improved version of the Galaxy A11’s 13MP+5MP+2MP setup. Samsung has also changed the selfie camera’s position on the Galaxy A12. It is now housed at the centre of the screen in a waterdrop-style notch. The Galaxy A12 release date is unknown at this point, but we can expect it to be launched sometime in Q1 2020.
