Realme X7 5G India launch is getting closer and closer with Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth teasing the arrival on Twitter. Now, the device with the model number RMX2176 has received the BIS certification, which means it has the green light to release in India. The Realme X7 5G series launch date in India is yet to be revealed, but Sheth previously teased that the phones will arrive in early 2021. Realme X7 and X7 Pro prices are expected to be in the affordable mid-range segment and they will be the first phones to bring the MediaTek Dimensity chipsets to the country.

To recall, the Realme X7 sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, punch-hole design and slim bezels. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It runs on Android 10 OS with Realme UI custom skin on top. As for the optics, the Realme X7 has a quad-camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a couple of 2MP sensors for macro and black and white shots. Moving to the front, there is a 32MP snapper for selfies and video chats. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Realme X7 packs a 4,300mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

Meanwhile, Realme X7 Pro specifications are largely similar to the vanilla Realme X7, but it offers the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+SoC instead of the Dimensity 800U and a higher 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro model also gets a slightly larger 4,500mAh battery and 6.55-inch display.
