New Redmi Note 9-series phones are tipped to launch in China later this month. The company may announce as many as three new models in the series ahead of the Redmi Note 10 launch. Tipster Digital Chat Station previously revealed that one of the new phones will come with a 108MP camera. The same tipster has now revealed (via Weibo) the display size, refresh rate, resolution, and other details of one of the upcoming Redmi Note 9 phones, particularly the high-end model. The high-end Redmi Note 9 specs may include a 120Hz LCD display and AdaptiveSync technology. The latter is a feature found on the Mi 10T series and can intelligently switch between 30Hz to 120Hz refresh rates based on the content on screen.

Additionally, the new Redmi Note-series phone is said to sport a 6.67-inch screen with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution, 450 nits brightness, and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The smartphone could also rock 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 atop, TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification, and Reading Mode 3.0. The information comes just the day after the same tipster shared a variant of the Redmi Note 9 series will tout high refresh rate display. Digital Chat Station had also posted a photo of the LCD screen of one of the new Redmi Note 9 series handsets, which the hole-punch cutout in the centre of the screen atop.

Apart from this, it’s being rumoured that the upcoming Redmi Note 9 phones could come with up to 33W fast charging solution, the latest Snapdragon 750G, and 5G connectivity. Xiaomi is yet to announce the new Redmi Note 9-series launch date, but we expect them to arrive soon.
