The iPhone 12 series was unveiled globally last week, comprising of four models, namely the vanilla iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Now, the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro pre-orders have kicked off in India through the Apple website and Flipkart. Both the phones will be on sale from October 30th across the country. For the remaining two models, the customers will have to wait till November. The latest iPhones come with Apple’s A14 Bionic 5nm chipset, Super Retina XDR display, improved optics, iOS 14 out of the box and iPad Pro like square-design.
iPhone 12 and 12 Pro price in India
iPhone 12 price in India starts at Rs 79,900 for the 64GB option, Rs 84,900 for the 128GB variant, and Rs 94,900 for the 256GB storage. Flipkart is offering a Rs 6,000 instant discount with HDFC credit and debit card (EMI) and a Rs 1,500 instant discount with HDFC debit card (non-EMI).
The iPhone 12 Pro price starts at Rs 119,900 for the base 128GB model, Rs 129,900 for the 256GB variant, and Rs 149,900 for the 512GB storage. Flipkart is offering a Rs 5,000 instant discount with HDFC credit and debit card (EMI) and a Rs 1,500 instant discount with HDFC debit card (non-EMI). Both the phones will ship in India from October 30th.
Additionally, India iStore is also offering a cashback of up to Rs 6,000 through HDFC Bank debit and credit cards and EMI transactions at select stores. Customers can also avail of a Rs 6,000 exchange bonus.

iPhone 12 and 12 Pro specifications
The iPhone 12 sports a 6.1 inches Super Retina XDR OLED display with 2,532 x 1,170 pixels resolution, 460ppi pixel density, HDR 10, and HLG HDR support. It comes with a new Ceramic Shield that Apple claims makes the phone more durable against scratches. The phone boots iOS 14 out of the box. Moving to optics, the iPhone 12 on the back has dual 12MP sensors with OIS, 120-degree FoV, f/1.8, and 2x optical zoom. In the front, there is a 12MP True Depth sensor on the front for selfies and video chats. The phone is powered by the latest 5nm A14 Bionic chipset with a 16-core Neural Engine and 5G connectivity. The iPhone 12 is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.
iPhone 12 Pro offers features pretty similar to those of the vanilla 12, such as a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with ‘Ceramic Shield’, but flaunts a superior rear camera system. The phone is equipped with three camera sensors in a square-shaped module at the back consisting of a 12MP wide-angle lens, 7-element lens, 26mm focal length; 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FoV, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. It has a 12MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The Pro smartphone also comes with 128GB base storage, double of what the entry-level 12 offers.
