Amazon Great Indian Festival and Flipkart Big Billion Days sale dates have been announced and they’re starting around the same time as expected. The much-anticipated festive season sales from the two biggest e-commerce platforms in the country will begin from October 16th. The Amazon Great Indian Festival sale actually starts from October 17th, but it will begin 24 hours earlier for Prime members. Meanwhile, the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale will be available for all from October 16th. The upcoming mega sales will see exclusive deals, discounts, and offers on a range of products, including smartphones, laptops, home appliances, apparel, and other more.

Amazon has partnered with HDFC Bank for the Great Indian Festival sale, to offer customers an instant 10 percent discount on any purchase made via HDFC debit or credit card. Additionally, Amazon Pay users can unlock daily shopping reward benefits of up to Rs 500 per day. The Flipkart Big Billions sale, on the other hand, is backed by SBI and Yono app for 10 percent instant discount and Paytm for assured cashback. Bajaj Finserv customers are being offered a credit limit of up to Rs 1,00,000 and no-cost EMI offers during the sale.
Amazon and Flipkart both have started teasing the deals and discounts that’ll be available during the sale. Starting with smartphones, the iPhone 11 will be available under Rs 50,000 on Amazon while the LG G8X will be on sale for as low as Rs 19,990 on Flipkart. The Amazon Great Indian Festival sale will also include Samsung Galaxy M51, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and OnePlus 8 at a discounted price. The Flipkart Big Billion Days sale will be selling Moto E7 Plus at Rs 8,999, Moto G9 at Rs 9,999, Infinix Hot 9 Pro at Rs 9,499, and Motorola Edge+ at just Rs 64,999.
Smart TVs and laptops will also be available at discounted prices during the sale.
