Airtel Rs 399 postpaid plan has been reintroduced to take on Jio Postpaid Plus plans. The Rs 399 Airtel plan earlier only available in select circles but has now been made available in all circles across the country, as spotted by users in Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, and Telangana on the Airtel Thanks app. The Airtel Rs 399 postpaid plan offers 40GB 3G/4G data along with unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day. It also includes a subscription to Airtel Xstream premium, Wynk Music, and Shaw Academy. Airtel is offering free Hellotunes and Rs 150 cashback on FASTag transactions as well.

Unlike Jio, Airtel doesn’t give users the option to add an extra connection with the Rs 399 postpaid plan. Airtel notes that only postpaid plans of Rs 499 and above are eligible to get ‘Priority Service’, meaning users opting for the Rs 399 plan won’t get any special priority service. As mentioned, Bharti Airtel’s new Rs 399 plan is available across all circles in India for users to choose from.

In comparison, the Rs 399 Jio Postpaid Plus plan brings 75GB 4G high-speed data, unlimited calls and SMSes, and 200GB data rollover. However, Jio has an edge over Airtel, thanks to OTT offerings such as Disney+ Hotstar VIP, Netflix, Prime Videos subscription, and Jio suite of apps. It also offers ‘Family Plan’ at Rs 250 per connection, up to 200GB data rollover benefit per month, Wi-Fi calling, in-flight calling, and international calling starting at Rs 50 paise per min.
