Samsung Galaxy S20 FE or Fan Edition is nearing its launch as leaks and rumours are at an all-time high. Now, a new leak has emerged that reveals some juicy information about the upcoming smartphone. As per a report by WinFuture.de, the latest Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will be available in two configurations: one model will come with a 4G-only option, while the other variant will feature 5G. The report highlights that the 4G variant will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 990 chipset, while the 5G version will be loaded with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. The phones are said to be available in late September or early October.

The report also includes some renders of the upcoming Galaxy S20 FE, which reveals the colour options and the design of the upcoming smartphone. As per the report, the device will be available in various colour options, including White, Blue, Orange, Lavender, Green and Red. The render reveals that the smartphone will come with a design language similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. The smartphone comes equipped with a triple-camera setup at the back panel, while the front is loaded with a single selfie camera in the Infinity-O display. The right side features volume controls and a power on/off button. In all, the smartphone looks similar to the standard Samsung Galaxy S20.

Coming to the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE reportedly will be loaded with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Interestingly, the Galaxy S20 FE will come with a refresh rate of 120Hz along with 407ppi pixel density and older Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. This is interesting as the Galaxy S20 FE display will be superior as compared to the vanilla Galaxy Note 20. This is because the standard variant of the Galaxy Note 20 comes with a 60Hz refresh rate, while the Galaxy S20 FE will come with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone will be loaded with a triple-camera setup at the back panel. The setup comes with a combination of 12-megapixel primary lens with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, OIS support, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 33-degree FoV, f/2.0 aperture, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with 123-degree FoV. On the front, there will be a 32-megapixel selfie-shooter with f/2.0 aperture. 

The Samsung Galaxy FE 4G and 5G variants will come with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage option in the European market. However, one could expect it to be available with 8GB RAM + 512GB option as well. Moving on, the smartphone will come with a 4,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The phone will be equipped with an Android 10 operating system with OneUI 2 running on top of it. Apart from this, the report says that the phone will come with IP68 certification along with stereo speakers tuned by AKG and more. On the connectivity front, it supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC, MST, and USB Type-C port.
