Highlights
  • OPPO A53 had earlier bagged FCC and Bluetooth SIG certifications
  • The Global Certification confirms the name of the phone
  • OPPO A53s may launch with the Snapdragon 460 chipset

OPPO A53s marketing name has been officially confirmed via the Global Certification website. The handset had earlier bagged the FCC and Bluetooth SIG certifications and was spotted on Geekbench with the same model number CPH2135. Unfortunately, the listing only confirms the phone will have 4G LTE connectivity and doesn’t reveal much else. The Geekbench listing shows the OPPO A53s (CPH2135) will feature Android 10, 4GB RAM, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor. It managed to score 252 points in single-core and 1131 points in the multi-core test, respectively. Not much else is known about the OPPO A53s at the moment but we can speculate it could be a stripped-down version of the OPPO A53 that launched in India last month.
