OPPO will be the next popular brand to foray into the television market. The company has confirmed it will launch new smart TVs in October at the OPPO Developer Conference 2020. To recall, OPPO had mentioned its interest to create an ecosystem at INNODay conference in December 2019 and teased the arrival of its smart TV with a teaser image. Earlier this month, OPPO TVs and their remote controls received China’s 3C and Bluetooth SIG certifications, respectively. The TVs will be manufactured by TPV Display Technology, which is the parent company of AOC, Envision, and Philips TV business.
The OPPO smart TV will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes and ten different model numbers. The remote controls bear model numbers – RC-001D and BRC 004A, respectively. Unfortunately, the upcoming OPPO TV specifications and hardware details are a mystery at the moment. Since they will debut in October, we don’t have to wait for much longer to learn more.

The handset sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution, a standard 60Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cutout.
