Vivo Y20 was launched in India back in August alongside the Y20i. The handset ships with a 5,000mAh battery, triple camera setup at the back, and Android 10 OS. At launch, the Vivo Y20 was only available in 4GB + 64GB model. However, 91mobiles has now learned from offline retail sources that the company is gearing up to launch the 6GB RAM variant in the country as early as next week. The Vivo Y20 6GB RAM variant price in India will be Rs 13,990 and there will be bank offers during launch. To recall, the 4GB RAM option costs Rs 12,990. Customers purchasing the Vivo Y20 6GB RAM model through Federal Bank debit card (both regular and EMI) are entitled to a 5 percent cashback and it will also offer EMI options with TVS Credit. These introductory offers are valid until September 30th.

Vivo Y20 sports a 6.51-inch HD+ Halo iView display with 1,600 x 720 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that is expandable up to 256GB. The phone boots Android 10 OS with the company’s Funtouch OS 10.5 custom skin on top. The Vivo Y20 measures 164.41 × 76.32 × 8.41 mm and weighs 192.3 grams.

As for the cameras, the Vivo Y20 has a triple setup at the back consisting of a 13MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 2MP depth lens for portrait shots, and a 2MP Macro sensor for close up pictures. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
