OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro battery capacity have been leaked ahead of launch. Several key OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro specifications have been outed already and we now know a little bit more about the smartphones. The information comes from noted Twitter tipster Max Jambor, who says that both the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will come with a 4,500mAh battery. Support for 65W fast charging is a given, considering that the company introduces the technology with the OnePlus 8T. However, it could remain exclusive to the Pro mode, with the vanilla variant being restricted to 33W. OnePlus could also go the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro route and use a dual-cell configuration on both devices.

OnePlus 9 series battery tipped
Max has also assuaged everyone’s fears by confirming that OnePlus will ship both smartphones with a charger in the box. We reported exclusively that the OnePlus 9 would support wireless charging at 30W. A subsequent report told us that the OnePlus 9 Pro could bump that up to 45W. However, the same battery capacity across both devices comes as somewhat puzzling, considering that they are expected to come with different screen sizes.
OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro specifications
We found out earlier that the OnePlus 9 Pro would feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel clocked at 120Hz. On the other hand, the OnePlus 9 would come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with the same refresh rate. Whether or not the OnePlus 9 Pro can push 120Hz at 1440p remains to be seen.
On the camera side of things, the OnePlus 9 series expected to feature Hasselblad-branded cameras. While their actual specifications are shrouded in mystery, we know that OnePlus has opted out of including a periscope-style telephoto lens on either device. We’re probably looking at a camera configuration similar to that of the OPPO Find X series. Both the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro phones are expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset.
