We exclusively reported about the Samsung SM-M127F/ SM-F127G (Galaxy M12 or Galaxy F12) specifications a couple of months ago. While it was unclear which of the two models it was, the specification sheet indicated that it will be an entry-level Samsung smartphone. Both the Samsung Galaxy M12 and Galaxy F12 have now shown up on the Google Play Console (via MySmartPrice), indicating that they will be launching soon. The listings confirm earlier speculations about Samsung Galaxy M12/ F12 specifications, which claimed that they would ship with the mid-range Exynos 850 chipset and four rear cameras. The Google Play Console listing also tells us that the Samsung Galaxy M12 and Galaxy F12 will run an ARM Mali-G76 GPU.
The Google Play Console listing also highlights some key differences between the Samsung Galaxy M12 and Galaxy F12. For starters, the Galaxy M12 will come with 6GB of RAM, while the Galaxy F12 with 4GB. Both phones will come with a 720p (HD) screen and run Android 11 customised with One UI 3.0 out of the box. It was widely speculated earlier that the two smartphones would be the same device with different branding. However, two separate instances on the Google Play Console seem to suggest otherwise.
