PUBG Mobile India release date is nowhere in sight as the game’s launch is yet to receive approval from the government. The much-anticipated game was up for pre-registration last month and the APK download link also briefly went live. While the PUBG Mobile India launch was expected in December, it seems unlikely that the game will release before January. However, eager players in India will be happy to know that there will be welcome gifts in store once the game launches in the country. As per a leak spreading on YouTube, PUBG Mobile India welcome gift crate will include an Anarkali Headgear, Anarkali Set, and a Classic Crate Coupon. These gifts will likely be made available to players once PUBG Mobile has been launched officially.

It is also worth noting that the welcome gifts were spotted in the global version of PUBG Mobile. PUBG Corporation could very well throw in a few more items for its Indian user base, given the massive popularity of the game in the country. The company also promised that player IDs, in-app purchases, cosmetics, and other character-specific traits would be ported over from the global version to the Indian version. However, PUBG Mobile India will be different in terms of gameplay compared to the global version.
Given that the PUBG Mobile APK went live briefly, it shouldn’t be long before the game is released in India. PUBG Corporation is reportedly seeking a meeting with the Ministry of Electronics and Information technology (MeitY) for permission to launch the game in India. The prospects of a December launch seem grim, so we have no choice but to wait until 2021.
