  • Moto G9 Power is expected to launch in India on December 8th
  • The Flipkart listing for the Moto G9 Power was briefly live
  • Moto G9 Power comes with the Snapdragon 662 SoC and 64MP camera

Moto G9 Power is set to launch in India in just a few days, as per a leaked teaser. Tipster Mukul Sharma tweeted an image of the Moto G9 Power India launch image that was apparently listed on Flipkart. It seems the company has taken the listing down as we could not find it on the e-commerce page. However, the image looks legitimate and it suggests the Moto G9 Power will launch in India next week and will go on sale on Flipkart. The smartphone was expected to arrive in the country after it received the BIS certification with the Moto G 5G. The latter, to recall, was launched in India earlier this week at Rs 20,999.

Moto G9 Power launch date in India

According to the image posted by the tipster, the Moto G9 Power India launch is set for Tuesday, December 8th at 12 PM IST. The smartphone will go on sale on Flipkart and Motorola will likely reveal the sale date during the launch.

Moto G9 Power price in India (expected)

The Moto G9 Power went official in Europe last month alongside the Moto G 5G. The smartphone is priced at EUR 199 (approx Rs 17,500) in the European market, but we expect it to arrive in India at a more affordable price point given the specifications and the competition in the segment. A sub-Rs 15,000 price is expected for the Moto G9 Power.

Moto G9 Power specifications

The Moto G9 Power that launched globally last month comes with a 6.78-inch HD+ (1640×720) display and is powered by the Snapdragon 662 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone packs a large 6,000mAh battery and 20W fast charging support. Moto G9 Power comes equipped with a 64MP primary camera accompanied by a 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor. It also gets a 16MP front-facing camera. Moto G9 Power is a 4G smartphone that runs on a near-stock version of Android 10.

The Moto G9 Power that is launching in India on December 8th should offer specifications similar to the global variant. We expect to see an official announcement of the launch date from the company soon enough.
