Mi QLED TV 4K is confirmed to launch in India soon and Xiaomi has announced the launch date and time. The premium smart TV will go official in India on December 16th at 12 PM IST and the launch will likely be live-streamed. The Mi QLED TV 4K has now been teased on Xiaomi’s official website, which also reveals some key features. The television will come with support for Dolby Vision, Dolby Audio, HDR10+, 4K, and more. The smart TV will run on PatchWall OS with support for OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Diney+ Hotstar, and more. 

The Xiaomi Mi QLED TV supports 4K resolution and will sport a Quantum Dot Screen technology. The TV is confirmed to support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content. It will also come with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD sound support. Mi QLED TV runs on PatchWall that comes with features like Universal Search, Kids Mode, Smart Recommendations, and Live Channels. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Mi QLED TV 4K will come equipped with HDMI 2.1, eARC, ALLM, and AV1. Other specifications and features are yet to be revealed.

Mi QLED TV 4K could be the Mi TV 5 Pro 55-inch that launched in China

While it’s unclear, it seems the Mi QLED TV 4K is a rebranded Mi TV 5 Pro which is available in China. The Mi TV 5 Pro comes with slim bezels and a 55-inch screen with support for 4K resolution and HDR10+. The Quantum Dot screen comes with MEMC technology and NTSC 108% wide colour gamut. Notably. the Mi TV 5 Pro can even support 8K video content. The smart TV offers a 5.9mm slimness and metal body build. The Mi TV 5 Pro 55-inch is priced at 4199 yuan, which translates to around Rs 47,500. The Mi QLED TV 4K could be priced similarly and we will find out the official price during the launch event on December 16th.
