Skullcandy has launched a new over-the-ear headphone in India. Dubbed as the Skullcandy Crusher Evo, the headphones pack heaps of modern-day features like a USB Type-C port and Bluetooth 5.0. Skullcandy claims that the Crusher Evo can last up to 40 hours on a single charge. Charging the headphones for ten minutes will yield you up to four hours of playtime. It comes with large 40mm drivers, the bass output of which can be adjusted via a dedicated slider on the headphones. The headphones weigh 312 grams and fold inwards, allowing it to fit snugly into the included carrying case. Lastly, the Skullcandy Crusher Evo price in India is Rs 12,999. It is available in only one colour variant, True Black, and can be purchased via the official Skullcandy website.
Other Skullcandy Crusher Evo features include support for Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity. Alternatively, the headphones also come with an aux cable to enable wired functionality. Its multi-purpose slider lets you switch tracks, adjust the volume and answer calls. Additionally, a dedicated button is earmarked to invoke virtual assistants like Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant.
Skullcandy has also partnered up with the Swedish firm Audiodo to better customise the Skullcandy Crusher Evo’s sound output. Users can further fine-tune listening experience via the dedicated Skullcandy app. It is also possible to locate the Skullcandy Crusher Evo headphones via the Tile app, which will ring the earphones if they’re nearby. It also displays the last known location of the hardware on a map.
