Apple has announced its ‘One More Thing’ event for November 10th, which is widely expected to see the launch of the anticipated ARM-based MacBooks. The event comes after the iPad and Apple Watch event in September and the iPhone 12 series event in October. The November Apple event is expected to see MacBooks with custom ARM-based CPUs, including a 13-inch MacBook Air and two MacBook Pro models — 13-inch and 16-inch – according to a new report from Bloomberg. Besides MacBooks, Apple is also said to be working on redesigned iMac, a new Mac Mini, and a half-sized Mac Pro with ARM chip architecture.

To recall, Apple had confirmed ARM-based Macs at WWDC back in June but said the transition will take around two years. Apple is said to be letting developers run their software on Mac powered by the iPad Pro processor to see how this might affect its software ecosystem. The ARM-based Macs should have the ability to run iOS software designed for iPhone and iPad on Mac computers. This should be enabled by the upcoming macOS Big Sur update (expected to roll out after the launch event) and will bridge the gap with iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
Besides Apple MacBooks, we can speculate the Cupertino giant may introduce Apple AirTags and Apple AirPods Studio headphones on the stage. However, details about the same are a mystery for now.
