Xiaomi today has introduced the 80W Mi Wireless charging technology, which is incredibly fast compared to the existing charging speeds in the industry. The new technology is capable of filling a 4,000mAh battery to 10 percent in 1 minute, 50 percent in eight minutes and 100 percent in just 19 minutes. In comparison, the 30W Mi charging technology from 2019 was capable of charging a similar battery to 50 percent in about 25 minutes and 100 percent in 69 minutes. Back in March, Xiaomi had announced the 40W wireless charging and in August, it launched the 50W wireless charging technology that was part of the Mi 10 Ultra. However, Xiaomi hasn’t mentioned when the new charging technology would debut but we can speculate it may arrive next year with the Mi 11 flagship or Mi 11T down the year in 2021.
Xiaomi recently launched the Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10T in India. These debuted globally last month. The Pro variant sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and punch-hole design to accommodate the selfie snapper. It is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with Adreno 650 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 custom skin on top and there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security. The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro has a triple-camera setup at the back comprising of a 108MP primary sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro unit for close up shots. There is a 20MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. A 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support fuels the phone.
Xiaomi Mi 10T has similar specifications as the Mi 10T Pro. However, the primary camera is a 64MP snapper instead of the 108MP sensor on the Pro model. Mi 10T is priced at Rs 35,999 for the base 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and Rs 37,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The Mi 10T Pro costs Rs 39,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model.
