Vivo V20 Pro 5G India launch has been confirmed by the company’s India CEO Jerome Chen. Vivo launched the V20 in India last week and the company had revealed during the launch event that the V20 SE would be arriving soon. Now, the Vivo India executive has revealed the Vivo V20 Pro 5G will tag along as well, though an exact launch date is yet to be announced. We speculate both the smartphones will launch in India later this month or in early-November. Vivo V20 Pro specifications include an AMOLED display, Snapdragon 765 SoC, 5G support, and 33W fast charging, among other things.

The Vivo V20 Pro 5G sports a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 2400×1080 pixels resolution, HDR10 support, and a wider-notch to accommodate dual selfie cameras. It is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card slot. The handset runs Android 10-based FunTouch OS 11 out of the box and packs a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It measures 158.82 × 74.20 × 7.39mm and weighs 170 grams.

Moving to the optics, the Vivo V20 Pro is equipped with a triple camera setup at the back that includes a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The device also gets a 44MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor on the front for selfies and video chats. It rocks an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
