Xiaomi has launched a new pair of truly wireless earphones called Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro – a name that is quite a mouth full. It’s the first TWS earphones from the brand to come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro earbuds tout a design similar to Apple AirPods Pro. The pair comes with an in-ear design, a short stem, and silicon tips on the front for a comfortable fit. The charging case, which supports wireless charging, has a slightly different form factor. The earphones are rated to last up to 7 hours when noise reduction is turned off, and 5 hours when noise reduction is turned on, on a single charge. The Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro price in China is set at RMB 699 (~Rs 7,600). The pair comes in Black colour and is available for order in China at a discounted price of RMB 649 (~Rs 7,100). There is no word on Mi Ture Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro India launch yet.

Talking about the specifications, the Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro packs a 12mm dynamic coil that is said to offer a maximum noise reduction of 35dB. The earbuds support Active Noise Cancellation and Transparent mode that enables users to listen to the ambient sounds in one click without taking off the headphones. The pair has 3 microphones for call noise reduction, voice wake-up, and latency as low as 100ms.
Additionally, the earphones are fitted with an Infrared sensor for intelligent wear detection, touch controls for volume and track change, and fast charging support (over type-C port). Xiaomi claims that the Mi True Wireless Earphones Air 2 Pro 90 minutes of listening with 10 minutes of charging. You get hours of standalone playback without ANC, 5 hours with ANC, and up to 28 hours with the case. The accessory can also be charged wirelessly with Qi support. The earphones can be paired with both Android and iOS devices using Bluetooth v5.0.
