Amazfit Bip U has been launched in India as the newest member to the company’s Bip-series family. The new Bip U is positioned in between the Amazfit Bip S Lite and Amazfit Bip S (review), which were announced a few months ago. The all-new affordable fitness band comes with the same form factor and 5ATM water resistance design as its sibling. As far as the features go, the Amazfit Bip U packs 60+ sports mode, over 50 watch faces, 1.43-inch TFT-LCD colour display, stress monitoring, and breathing exercises, among other things.
The Amazfit Bip U price in India is set at Rs 3,999, but it can be fetched at an introductory price of Rs 3,499 for one month. The wearable comes in black, green, and pink colour options and goes on sale from October 16th onwards via Amazfit e-store and Amazon.in.
Coming to the specifications, the Amazfit Bip U sports a squarish dial, polycarbonate body, and silicone straps. The wearable weighs just 31 grams and packs a 1.43-inch full-colour TFT display that bears 320 x 302p resolution, 2.5D glass atop, and anti-fingerprint coating. The watch has BioTracker 2 PPG bio-tracking, powered by OxygenBeats, for 24/7 optical heart rate sensor. The Bip U houses a 225mAh battery that is rated to last up to 9 hours on a single charge.
On the fitness front, the watch highlights 60+ sports modes which include running, cycling, yoga, dancing, skating, kickboxing and more; SpO2 monitor for blood oxygen saturation, PAI, stress monitoring, breathing training, sedentary reminder, and menstrual tracking. Additionally, the watch can withstand underwater for up to 50 minutes for 10 minutes. The Amazfit Bip U is compatible with both Android 5.0 or iOS 10 and above devices with Zepp app.
