Vodafone Idea aka Vi has launched new prepaid recharge plans for its subscribers in India that come bundled with homegrown OTT app ZEE5 premium subscription for a year for free. The annual subscription usually costs Rs 699. Vodafone Idea users will be able to avail the ZEE5’s benefit with prepaid recharges of Rs 355, Rs 405, Rs 595, Rs 795, and Rs 2,595 denominations. In addition, most of the new Vi prepaid packs also offer data and unlimited voice calling to all networks. Here’s a quick look at the new Vodafone Idea prepaid plans with ZEE5 subscription.

Starting with the Vodafone Idea Rs 355 pack, the base recharge for prepaid subscribers is bundled with a one-year ZEE5 premium subscription along with 50GB data for 28 days. Sadly, there is no voice calling benefit with this plan. That you’ll get with Vi’s Rs 405 prepaid pack. The recharge with the ZEE5 subscription not only comes with unlimited voice calling but offers 90GB data for 28 days.
The Vodafone Idea Rs 595, Rs 795, and Rs 2,595 recharge plans include unlimited voice calling and 2GB data/ per day for their respective validity period of 56 days, 84 days, and 365 days. After recharging your number with one of the recharges stated above, you can activate the ZEE5 premium subscription here. The company said that you’ll continue to receive the benefit of ZEE5 service annual subscription only if you continue to avail regular VIL unlimited (UL) recharge starting at Rs 219.
The ZEE5 premium subscription catalogue, to recall, includes a mix of originals, shows, music, and movies in 12 languages for audiences across India. The ZEE5 mobile app is available for web, Android, iOS, and smart TVs, among other devices.
