Vivo S1 Pro and Vivo Y50 have received price cuts in India, 91mobiles has learned from offline retail sources. The new prices are effective from today i.e September 15th, 2020, and are currently reflecting on Amazon, Flipkart in addition to offline stores. To recall, the Vivo S1 Pro and Y50 were launched at Rs 19,990 and Rs 17,990 but the former’s price was increased owing to the GST hike back in April. The Vivo S1 Pro is now available at Rs 18,990, down from Rs 19,990, while the Vivo Y50 is discounted to Rs 16,990 from the launch price of Rs 17,990.

Vivo Y50 and S1 Pro specifications

To recall the Vivo Y50 specifications, it flaunts a 6.53-inch FHD+ iView display with 1,080 x 2.340 pixels resolution and a punch-hole cutout. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 256GB. It runs on Android 10 with Funtouch OS custom skin on top. The Vivo Y50 has a quad-camera setup on the back consisting of a 13MP primary shooter, an 8MP wide-angle lens with 120 degrees field-of-view, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP 2cm macro sensor. There is a 16MP sensor on the front for selfies and video chats and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery.

As for the Vivo S1 Pro, the smartphone sports a 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch and a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage that is further expandable via microSD card. The Vivo S1 Pro runs Android 9.0 Pie with FunTouch OS 9.2 skin on top. The phone features a quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support fuels the handset. The Vivo S1 Pro also features an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
