Redmi 9A 6GB RAM variant has been launched, but not in India. The new variant has gone official in China and it joins the existing 3GB + 32GB model. The Redmi 9A debuted globally back in June alongside the Redmi 9 and Redmi 9C. It was later launched in India, priced starting at Rs 6,799. Apart from the new RAM and storage configuration, the rest of the specifications remain unchanged. To recall, Redmi 9A comes with a waterdrop display, a 5,000mAh battery, MediaTek Helio G25 chipset, and a single 13MP primary camera.

Redmi 9A 6GB RAM price
Redmi 9A 6GB RAM variant price is set at RMB 999 (around Rs 10,800) and will be on sale in China starting September 29th, i.e tomorrow. There is no word yet on whether the Redmi 9A 6GB RAM version will launch in India.
Redmi 9A specifications
To recall the Redmi 9A specifications, the phone sports a 6.53-inch HD+ display with 1600 X 720 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 SoC coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable via microSD card. The handset runs on Android 10 OS with MIUI 11 custom skin on top. Moving to the cameras, the Redmi 9A has a single 13MP primary camera placed in a vertical module along with an LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP snapper for selfies and video chats. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery with no fast-charging support. It doesn’t have fingerprint sensor security. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
