Realme Q2 launch date could be October 13th, a new tip by tipster Digital Chat Station, suggests. The new Realme Q-series phone is expected to debut in China next month and is speculated to be called Realme Q2, as per a report by GizmoChina. This could be the first Realme phone to launch with Realme UI 2.0 out of the box. The tipster has also revealed some Realme Q2 specifications, which could include an OLED display, 65W fast charging, and 5G support. This could be the successor to last year’s Realme Q or it could be a brand new phone altogether.

Realme Q2 specifications [expected]

Realme Q2 is expected to be the Realme RMX2173 model that was recently spotted on TENAA. The handset may debut with similar specifications as the recently launched Realme X7. The Realme Q2 may sport a 16MP front-facing camera. Around the back, the phone could feature a quad-camera setup in a rectangular camera module comprising a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary lens, and a couple of 2MP sensors.

Other Realme Q2 specifications may include a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 2,400 × 1,080 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is expected to be powered by an unknown 2.4GHz 5G octa-core processor coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage options. The smartphone could run Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box. It is said to measure 160.9 x 74.4 x 8.1mm dimensions and it weighs 175 grams. Lastly, the phone could house a 4,200mAh battery and support 65W fast charging.
